Sustainable management of bio-aggressors

The research activities of the "Sustainable management of bio-aggressors" axis are focused on
- Monitoring and diagnosis of pests and diseases;
- Bio-pest - environment interactions (including the impact of agricultural production methods on the environment and biodiversity);
- Control and valorization of bioproducts in approaches that are more respectful of the environment and consumers.
The development of plant production and amenity systems in urban areas is an innovative theme that is developed and concerns the cultivation, processing and distribution of food and non-food plants, arboriculture and livestock and entomoculture, directly for the urban market, within and around an urban area.
Our laboratories:
🔬Functional and evolutionary entomology
The Functional and Evolutionary Entomology Laboratory develops fundamental and applied research in the field of Entomology in the broadest sense, and is more specifically interested in the development of innovative methods for the protection of crops against bio-aggressors

🔬Integrated and urban plant pathology
The research and teaching developed by the Laboratory of Integrated and Urban Phytopathology aim to improve plant protection against diseases caused by pathogens and to develop new modes of agricultural production in urban areas. The laboratory thus contributes to meeting the ecological, environmental, climatic and societal challenges of tomorrow's agriculture.
In order to better fulfil these missions, the laboratory has also developed two centres addressing specific themes:
